Microsoft solution for offline patch management for Virtual Machines - Coming Soon

Date August 16, 2007

Microsoft Connect has updated a new program Offline Patch management for VM’s (Codename-Himalaya) under Solution Accelerators. You can apply now if you are registered with Connect and the grace period for participation ends September 9th. Till then they are collecting feedbacks to get the customers requirements in offling patching of Virtual machines after which Microsoft would be releasing further details about the project. Possibly this may be included in the upcoming version of System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2007. If you want to test the Virtual Machine Manager, the beta is available for testing at Connect.

Currently it says “This solution accelerator contains the solution for Offline Patch management for VM’s”
